Black Ops 2 Browser — Explore the BO2-Inspired FPS Project
A browser-based Black Ops 2-style shooter has circulated alongside the recent Zombies trend, and it matters what it actually is. Claude of Duty: Vibe Slops II is an unofficial FPS reconstruction inspired by Black Ops II. Its source describes a Three.js shooter built around a Hijacked map export. It is not the original Call of Duty: Black Ops II, and it is not the BO1 Zombies browser project.
Quick answer
Choose this project if you want a short first-person shooter match in a BO2-inspired setting. Choose BO1 Zombies instead if you want waves, points, map-opening strategies and classic Zombies survival.
“Black Ops II in a browser” is a search phrase, and behind it sits one small unofficial shooter rather than the retail game. Nothing on this page is published by, licensed from or endorsed by Treyarch, Activision or Microsoft, and none of the original Black Ops II campaign, multiplayer or Zombies content is included.

This page does not frame the build. Framing a third-party project needs the host's permission, and calling a build playable needs a match started on it; neither has been confirmed, so the button opens the project's own site in a new tab instead.
What kind of FPS does the project offer?
It is an unofficial first-person shooter reconstruction inspired by Black Ops II, built with Three.js. The project's own documentation describes one arena-like space, character movement and shooting against game-controlled opponents in short matches rather than any story campaign.
The word worth holding on to is “inspired”. How a match is scored, how many opponents share it and how long it runs are implementation details that change between builds. We do not print figures unless we can point at the version they came from, so any number you read elsewhere belongs to the build it was written about, not to this project in general.
The task is different from Zombies too. There is no escalating defence to hold: you read a compact space, move between sightlines and try to win exchanges before the other player does. If you want the survival loop, this is not it.
The Hijacked-inspired environment
The project's documentation refers to a Hijacked map export. Anyone who played Black Ops II has the mental picture already: a compact yacht, tight routes, short sightlines and engagements that start at close range.
That is a statement about a design theme the build draws on. It is not a claim that the space is the original Hijacked asset, and it is nowhere near a claim that Black Ops II's other maps have been recreated. One borrowed setting is one borrowed setting.
We describe the setting in words rather than showing captures on this page. A picture of the original game is not a picture of this build, and publishing one under a browser-project heading would blur exactly the line this page exists to draw.
How to get started
Ordered so that you find out something is wrong before you spend a match working around it.
- Read the project's current status and where it is being served. A build that is documented and a build that is running today are two different facts.
- Check which input devices have actually been tested. Desktop keyboard and mouse is the documented baseline; phone support is a separate capability and is not confirmed for this build.
- Start a match and test movement, aiming, firing and reloading before you try to compete. Knowing the bindings is not the same as the build accepting them.
- If a match will not start, write down the address you were on, your browser and the exact message you saw. Do not apply the BO1 Zombies fixes: different project, different failure.
- Treat the project's own notes as the authority on its match rules and limits. They know their build; this page only reports what has been established about it.
A match that will not start may be the project's problem rather than your machine's. Our help pages cover the symptoms we can actually diagnose, and separate them by cause.
The bindings below come from the project's own documentation: the layout the build declares. They are not a layout we have pressed key by key inside a running match, and the project is a moving target.
Movement, looking and firing are the parts worth learning first. Everything else can wait until you are actually in a match.
Keyboard & mouse controls
These bindings apply to this project's browser build. Key names stay written the way they appear on the keyboard.
| Key | Action |
|---|---|
| W A S D | Move your character |
| Mouse | Look around |
| Left Click | Fire weapon |
| Right Click | Aim down sights |
| Shift | Sprint |
| Space | Jump |
| Ctrl / C | Crouch |
| R | Reload |
| B | Respawn |
| Tab | Show scoreboard |
| Esc | Release mouse / pause |
Taken from the BO2-inspired project's own documentation. Extended builds also list weapon switching on the mouse wheel or the 1 and 2 keys, melee on E, grenades on G and smoke on Q; show those only if the build you open has them.
Does this include Black Ops II Zombies?
No, and nothing about this project's existence suggests otherwise. A shooter reconstruction inspired by Black Ops II does not carry the Zombies mode along with it.
The phrase “black ops 2 zombies in browser” is a different intent pointing at different projects. This build has no Tranzit, no Mob of the Dead, no Origins and none of the Zombies feature set, and we will not describe it as if it did.
If a separate BO2 Zombies browser engine turns up, it needs its own identity, its own build record and its own evidence before it appears on this site. Until then the Zombies comparison page covers what actually exists for that mode.
Technical and ownership limitations
The project publishes its code as open source, and that licence covers the code. It does not cover the original game's art, audio, models or maps. The project says so itself: third-party assets that came out of a commercial game are not relicensed just because the engine around them is open.
The practical consequence for a reader is not to read “the repository is public” as permission to republish whatever is running inside it, and not to read it as the publisher's blessing either. Rights to the source material sit with their owners until somebody produces evidence that says otherwise.
We record what is established field by field rather than summarising it in one reassuring sentence. The project's existence is reported by its own repository and by independent listings, no session has been played on it here, and the phone and multiplayer columns read not verified rather than no, because that is the honest answer.
Frequently asked questions
+Is this the complete Black Ops 2 game online?
No. It is a separate browser-based FPS reconstruction inspired by Black Ops II, not a licensed full edition of the original game.
+Does it have the Hijacked map?
The project's own description refers to a Hijacked map export. Whether the deployed build runs that space as its author intended is a separate question, and one we have not tested here.
+Is this BO2 Zombies?
No. A BO2-style FPS and a BO2 Zombies browser experiment are different products, even when both turn up under Black Ops II branding in search results.
+Can I play against bots?
Opponents controlled by the game are part of the project's described design. Confirm that the build you open actually reaches a match before treating it as ready to play.
+Does it work on a phone?
Some browser recreations target phones, but mobile input and performance have to be tested on this specific project. A landing page that fits your screen is not evidence that the controls work once a match starts.
+Are the game assets free to reuse?
Not automatically. The project's code licence does not grant a licence to third-party maps, models, art or audio.
